October 3-course dinner – Karawa College

One of our annual experiences that always has our members talking long after it’s finished is the Karawa Training Restaurant sundowner at CDU Palmerston Campus. For some of us it’s a short trek – for other’s it’s just around the corner. But the quality of food and service experienced is always something we can all agree on as outstanding!

This October 2019, we’ll meet on the 22nd at the CDU Palmerston Campus to be entertained with a sumptous showcase of this year’s menu of delectable delights delivered by this year’s student food & beverage professionals, whilst enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow Skal Darwin members and guests.

$50 per head for Members & $55 per head per Guest for beer, wine, canapes, main course and dessert. This is incredible value for such a sumptuous dinner!

6:00pm – Guests arrive & beverage package commences
6.30pm – Food service starts
7.00pm – Skal Toast and Club business commences, Skallywag and Raffle Draws
8.00pm – Meeting closed.

About Karawa Training Restaurant

Charles Darwin University’s Karawa training restaurant, for tourism and hospitality students, is situated on the Palmerston campus, close to Palmerston city’s thriving CBD.

Karawa is the Larrakia word for ‘water’ and refers to the lake that is one of the main features of the campus.

Karawa Training Restaurant is open to the general public.  You can enjoy a three-course meal with a variety of dishes offered for each course.  The restaurant is fully licensed, with a range of beverages available to purchase on the night.
